NFCSF and IFGE unite for sugarcane bioenergy innovation

The National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories (NFCSF) of India has signed an agreement with the Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE). This collaboration aims to promote sugarcane-based bioenergy and sustainable practices in India.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by NFCSF Managing Director Prakash Naiknavare and Atul Mulay, Chairman of the IFGE BioEnergy Committee and President of Praj Industries.

According to NFCSF, the partnership aims to foster innovation, policy advocacy, and the adoption of green energy solutions. It will leverage the strengths of both organizations for these efforts.

Under the MoU, NFCSF will share its expertise on sugarcane and its by-products for green energy applications. The organization will provide access to research publications and reports. It will also collaborate on joint promotional and advocacy efforts.

IFGE plans to actively promote sugarcane-based green energy within India and globally. The organization will organize knowledge-sharing events, such as workshops and seminars, in partnership with NFCSF. It will also facilitate engagement between stakeholders, policymakers, and industry leaders.
