XCF achieves key production milestone at flagship SAF facility in Reno

XCF Global is a leader in decarbonizing the aviation industry through its synthetic aviation fuel (SAF) technology. The company has provided an update on its flagship New Rise Reno facility, highlighting a significant milestone.

Since beginning commercial operations in February 2025, the plant has successfully produced more than 2.5 million gallons of renewables. Ramp-up is the critical phase after commissioning, during which a new fuel facility gradually reaches full capacity and optimizes its operations.

The New Rise Reno plant leverages a modular, patent-pending design, allowing it to produce different renewable fuels flexibly and efficiently. This design enables the plant to switch between SAF and renewable diesel without the need for process modifications or equipment changes.

Mihir Dange, CEO of XCF, stated that the milestone confirms the plant’s ability to produce renewable fuels at scale. It also demonstrates the effectiveness of their business model. He praised the dedication and expertise of the team responsible for achieving this success.

The facility’s production of renewable naphtha, a valuable byproduct, highlights its flexibility and capacity to support emissions reduction in gasoline supply chains. During ramp-up, XCF’s multi-product approach helps diversify revenue streams, enhances resilience to market shifts, and maximizes plant utilization.

XCF remains committed to building state-of-the-art SAF production facilities that meet high standards of compliance, reliability, and quality. The company is actively forming partnerships across energy and transportation sectors to accelerate global adoption of SAF.

Its ultimate goal is to support the aviation industry’s transition to net-zero emissions through innovative, sustainable fuel solutions.
