Vision Life Holdings launches biobased ink to address wastewater pollution

Vision Life Holdings has introduced UTEX Eco Ink after extensive research. This innovative ink significantly reduces wastewater pollution, a longstanding issue in the fabric dyeing industry.

Traditional digital textile printing (DTP) inks have contributed to environmental pollution through wastewater discharge during fabric pretreatment processes. The UTEX Eco Ink eliminates the need for pre- and post-treatment processes, as well as water-based washing during printing.

By enabling direct printing onto fabrics without these additional steps, the eco-ink addresses pollution and wastewater issues found in conventional DTP dyeing methods. Notably, UTEX Eco Ink serves as an eco-friendly alternative to acidic inks commonly used for nylon fabrics.

This water-based ink integrates seamlessly with DTP methods, ensuring sustainability alongside high-quality printing. Traditional DTP dyeing requires separate ink applications for different fabric types, resulting in complex procedures, high costs, and considerable wastewater generation.

In contrast, Vision Life Holdings’ universal ink works on all fabric types without compromising texture or quality. The ink eliminates the need for fabric pretreatment, offering superior dyeing results compared to conventional methods.

CEO Mu-hyun Choi expressed excitement about the innovation, stating, “UTEX Eco Ink prevents pollution and wastewater concerns while preserving the original texture of fabrics. This technology ensures exceptional product quality and addresses environmental pollution at its source.”

The company aims to introduce UTEX Eco Ink as a next-generation solution both in South Korea and international markets.

For over 15 years, Vision Life Holdings has specialized in developing eco-friendly DTP dyeing inks. The company has rigorously tested UTEX Eco Ink for safety, productivity, and printing standards across South Korea, the United Kingdom, and China.

As a result, Vision Life Holdings is rapidly establishing itself as a leading innovator in the global eco-ink market.
