ChainCraft and Innovad form exclusive partnership to advance sustainable animal feed

ChainCraft, a leader in producing sustainable chemicals from food waste, has signed a long-term, exclusive supply deal with Innovad Group. Innovad is a global company in animal health and nutrition. Under this agreement, ChainCraft will supply high-purity butyric acid and other fatty acids. These ingredients will be used to create low-carbon feed additives. The additives will support animal gut health and help the environment.

The partnership combines ChainCraft’s fermentation technology with Innovad’s expertise in natural animal nutrition. ChainCraft’s technology turns organic waste into valuable short and medium-chain fatty acids. This offers a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels and palm oil. Innovad, based in Belgium, makes science-backed feed solutions. Their products improve animal welfare, reduce disease, and lower feed needs. This makes farming more sustainable.

Ben Letor, CEO of Innovad, said, “Our partnership with ChainCraft allows us to use sustainable, upcycled ingredients. This helps us make healthier animals. It also promotes eco-friendly farming.” The goal is to support circular solutions in animal nutrition.

Both companies are European innovators. Marc den Hartog, CEO of ChainCraft, said, “Working with Innovad fits with our mission. We want to create value from local resources. Together, we are setting new standards for sustainability in animal health.”

The partnership meets increasing demand for eco-friendly, deforestation-free solutions. ChainCraft and Innovad aim to have a lasting impact. They want to improve animal health and protect the environment. Their collaboration shows how innovation can drive sustainability.
