ALPLA is adding a new plastic packaging plant in North Las Vegas, Nevada. The site will open in spring 2027. It is the company’s second manufacturing location in the western United States.
The facility will sit within the Craig Road Logistics Center and cover 13,000 square meters. It will produce plastic bottles for domestic and global customers. The plant will use extrusion blow moulding, a process that shapes hollow plastic containers.
The announcement does not mention materials. It does not say whether the site will process bio-based or recycled resins.
The location offers access to major transportation corridors and regional distribution networks. ALPLA says this puts it closer to key customers. The company expects better service and delivery efficiency.
Tasos Pourloukakis, Regional Managing Director of ALPLA North America, called the investment an important step in the company’s long-term North American growth strategy. He said the site will add capacity and flexibility as customer needs and the market change.
The plant will serve food and beverage, health and beauty, and home care customers. It will also provide extra capacity for future partnerships.
Pourloukakis added that ALPLA is strengthening its North American production network as a system provider of packaging solutions. He said the company is deepening customer partnerships and creating employment opportunities locally.
The expansion will create 36 jobs in North Las Vegas. ALPLA now operates 19 sites across the United States.
