Juicy Marbles, a manufacturer of plant-based whole cuts, has introduced a new product to its portfolio: plant-based Baby Ribs with edible bones. The company has developed the ribs using a new recipe, dubbed “Marble 3.0,” which has been in testing for the past year.
According to Juicy Marbles, the Baby Ribs are designed to provide a convenient and satisfying meal option that meets the demands of health-conscious consumers. The product features 32 grams of protein per serving and is free from thickeners and binders. It also contains essential micronutrients such as iron, zinc, selenium, B vitamins, and vitamin B12.
The company highlights the benefits of its new product, saying that it offers a transparent ingredient list that consumers can trust. Vladimir Mićković, co-founder and chief brand officer of Juicy Marbles, noted that many consumers are seeking plant-based options that not only mimic the taste and texture of meat but also provide essential nutrients.
The Baby Ribs can be prepared in just 15 to 20 minutes and can be converted into crispy snacks by baking, frying, or air-frying the edible bones. The company plans to update its entire product line to the “Marble 3.0” recipe by the end of 2024.
