SAF One, a platform dedicated to developing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) solutions, has acquired Green Biotrade, a UAE-based company specializing in feedstock and biofuels trading.
This acquisition aims to bolster SAF One’s supply chain capabilities and secure essential feedstock for its SAF initiatives.
Deepak Munganahalli, Co-Founder and Director of SAF One, emphasized the acquisition as a pivotal step in increasing sustainable aviation fuel production. He noted that integrating Green Biotrade’s trading expertise and feedstock network would enhance the company’s ability to source biomass resources necessary for SAF production, reinforcing its commitment to a resilient supply chain.
Hani Samsam, CEO and Founder of Green Biotrade, highlighted the alignment between their biomass trading knowledge and SAF One’s vision for sustainable aviation fuel. He expressed optimism that the collaboration would expand their capabilities in feedstock and biofuels, promoting further innovation in sustainable energy solutions.
