Doktar to expand data-driven, sustainable agriculture solutions worldwide

Doktar, a leading technology company in sustainable agriculture, has closed a €7.5 million funding round. The round was co-led by the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF), Europe’s first private venture fund dedicated to bioeconomy and circular innovations. Pymwymic, a Dutch impact investor focused on regenerative farming and sustainable food systems, also led the round. Existing investor Diffusion Capital Partners (DCP) participated too.

This investment will help Doktar expand its product offerings and scale its holistic, climate-smart approach globally.

Doktar uses proprietary digital tools and AI to improve the agricultural value chain. Its platform addresses all farming needs, from real-time monitoring to sustainability reporting. Connected IoT devices, smart software, and AI insights provide farmers with actionable intelligence. Full farm traceability and verifiable climate outcomes are part of its service.

The platform combines farm digitization, farmer engagement, and impact measurement. It helps organizations meet climate goals with transparency and efficiency. The Climate Sustainability Impact (CSI) platform supports sustainable farming strategies and environmental results.

This new funding will enable the platform to incorporate more advanced solutions. It will also help global stakeholders achieve verifiable environmental and business benefits.

Rogier Pieterse, Pymwymic partner, added, “Doktar supports farmers and food companies in making smarter, impact-driven decisions. We’re excited to help grow their influence.”

Merve Akgun, DCP partner, highlighted the company’s achievements: “Doktar’s technology delivers measurable agricultural transformation. We’re proud to support their global expansion.” With this funding, Doktar plans to expand into new markets. It will also deepen its operational capacity worldwide.

Co-founders Tanzer Bilgen and Selim Ucer said, “This milestone allows us to accelerate digital agriculture across Europe, North America, and South America.” They added, “As farming faces pressure to improve productivity and sustainability, we’re building a digital backbone for verifiable impacts across supply chains.”
