Acadian Plant Health debuts abiotic stress management portfolio

Acadian Plant Health launched its Abiotic Stress Management (ASM) portfolio, a new advancement in biostimulants. The ASM portfolio enhances plant growth and stress tolerance, targeting abiotic stress, which is the leading cause of yield loss.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture estimates that 90% of crop losses result from extreme weather. This issue lowers annual farmer income by approximately $170 billion. As farmers face severe weather, flooding, and drought, ASM biostimulants aim to help crops thrive despite these challenges.

“Abiotic stress has often been underestimated,” said Nelson Gibson, President of Acadian Plant Health. “Our ASM portfolio is changing that with unmatched reliability and efficacy.”

The ASM portfolio includes effective biological compounds that target key crop stressors. Developed by a team of experts in biological crop inputs, this technology integrates seamlessly into farmers’ existing practices. The portfolio has also undergone rigorous field trials to ensure consistent performance.

“The future of farming depends on how effectively we equip farmers to manage abiotic stress,” Gibson added. “This will strengthen our food system’s resilience and enhance farmers’ economic well-being.”
