Bio-BDO is a versatile intermediate used in biodegradable bioplastics (Mater-Bi®), thermoplastic polyurethanes, fibres, coatings, adhesives, and elastomers, contributing to the decarbonization of multiple industries. Novamont’s strategy emphasizes the reindustrialization of disused sites, agricultural waste valorisation, and emissions reduction.
