The amount and wide variety of vegan meat products that has reached grocery aisles and restaurants is unprecedented. In this day in age, it almost seems that in order to succeed in the food industry, it is indispensable to have at least 1 vegan meat option.
Abillion recently released its data-driven report on the world’s best vegan burgers. The report, which was created from 12,000 reviews from independent consumers from around 62 countries, showed a big increase in interest for vegan products – by three times between July 2020 and June 2021, compared to the previous year. The most reviews came from members in Argentina, Canada, Chile, Germany, Italy, Mexico, South Africa, Spain, UK and the USA.
Although the list is dominated by the big two—Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods– there are nice surprises in the mix.
