French company Globber has recently launched its newest eco scooter, the Globber Go-Up Foldable Plus Ecologic.
A uniquely versatile 3-wheel eco scooter includes a seat for toddlers and children that transforms into a ride-on (suitable for 15-36-month-olds), a walking bike (for 15-36 month olds), and a toddler scooter (for 3-7 year-olds).
Globber is the world’s first scooter brand to use recycled plastic across an entire collection. The Globber Go-Up Foldable Plus Ecologic is made with 100% Global Recycled Standard plastic and biodegradable wheat straw. Wheat-straw is a bioplastic that’s 100% renewable. Using wheat-straw diverts from the waste stream, is biodegradable, and helps other plastic decompose.
The Globber Go-Up Foldable Plus Ecologic has a compact and lightweight design, at just 3.81kg, making it easy to fold, carry and store in homes and cars. Nonetheless it is strong enough to support up to 20kg in rode on mode, or up to 50kg as a scooter.
Additionally, the scooter has been designed to be 100% tool-less, and therefore easy to assemble and even switch between different modes. The t-bar and seat are height adjustable to suit each child at different stages.
It features a patented steering lock system that enables parents to lock the front scooter wheel so that it only moves forwards or backwards. This allows children to practice balance skills and grow their confidence. Later when they are more experienced and can learn lean-to-steering when they scoot, parents can release the steering lock button found on the base of the 3-wheel scooter deck.
Globber is an award-winning company with a current 60-100% GRS plastic in its ECOLOGIC collection and 25-40% GRS plastic in its entire 3-wheel collection. The company is working towards 100% GRS plastic across all collections. GRS is an international protocol that verifies recycled content in final products.
