Commentary – Controlling individual water droplets as biochemical reactors

Researchers at the Ritsumeikan University in Japan have been digging more into tiny tools that could be used in the development of bio chemicals for more sustainable technologies that could transform the way we live. With emerging technologies such as microfluidics and “lab-on-a-chip”, miniaturization has been taking on more and more in the research field. In this paper, Professor Satoshi Konishi explains more about how the tiny droplets have been exceptional in recent years.
