The 2021 Annual Economic Report on the EU Fishing Fleet was published on November 18th. Main findings are that the EU fishing fleet maintained profitability in 2019 and 2020. The report was prepared by the EU Commission and the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries in collaboration with economic experts from the Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee of Fisheries (STECF).
