A new laboratory facility has opened in Basel, offering life sciences and biotech companies a unique opportunity to access affordable and innovative research spaces. The facility, operated by Superlab Suisse, is the company’s largest private lab space in Switzerland and aims to foster scientific breakthroughs and collaboration.
The new facility, located in the Stücki Park, offers ready-to-use laboratory spaces equipped with the latest technology and operational support services. This allows companies to focus their resources on scientific research rather than lab operations. The facility spans over 4770 square meters and is designed to be a hub for scientific collaboration and innovation.
The Basel location is strategically situated near major biotechnology hubs, including pharmaceutical giants Novartis and Roche. The facility will provide a nucleus for scientific collaboration and innovation, offering a new industry standard of lab solution for life science companies of all sizes.
Superlab Suisse plans to expand further, with a third site set to open in Zurich Schlieren in March 2025. The company also aims to expand to more cities in Europe, the US, and Asia, embodying a borderless lab concept that benefits humanity as a whole.
The new facility is expected to attract like-minded innovators and researchers from around the world, providing an opportunity for collaboration and knowledge sharing. By offering affordable and innovative research spaces, Superlab Suisse is helping to overcome the financial barriers that often hinder innovation in the life sciences sector.
“We are thrilled to bring Superlab Suisse’s innovative platform to Basel, the city of Pharma,” says Zhang Xi, CEO of Superlab Suisse. “Our holistic solution frees scientists from operations headaches, so they can save time and focus on science. We service, you discover, is our mantra”.
