Submissions open for BioInvest Ireland 2023

BioeconomyVentures, Irish Bioeconomy Foundation and InterTrade Ireland are hosting the largest pitch and networking event focused on bioeconomy in the Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland in Belfast in January 2023.

The cross-border initiative aims to connect startups across the island of Ireland with potential investors & partners.

Some of Ireland & Northern Ireland’s best startups involved in the bio-based economy will pitch their business ideas live to a panel of experienced investors. Attendees will see both startup pitches and what investors really look for in a company. 

After the pitching session, people will have the opportunity to meet and interact with fellow entrepreneurs and investors in a networking session around food & drinks.

Any early-stage company that is Involved in bioeconomy related sectors (agriculture/aquaculture, forestry, agtech/foodtech, nutrition, bio-based chemicals, biotech, home/personal care, bioenergy, & other bioeconomy sectors), actively looking for investments, and based or operating on the island of Ireland can apply to be 1 of the 12 pitches.

The event is a great opportunity to pitch, and companies will also get live feedback on pitches by a panel of 3 experienced investors and get the chance to network with investors, corporates, and other startups in dedicated breakout sessions.

There will also be a pre-event support to improve pitches & get it ready for the big day, a prize for the top 2 pitches of a 2-year membership to the Irish Bioeconomy Foundation, where companies will also get to join other leading bioeconomy actors of the island of Ireland, and last but not list, the startup profile will be listed on BioeconomyVentures matchmaking platform & joining the growing BioeconomyVentures community.
