Cosmetic packaging manufacturer Quadpack has launched ‘Idol Woodacity Solo Twist Compact’, a new member of its ‘Woodacity’ family.
This small, refillable packaging incorporates the ‘Solo Twist’ closure system: an inclusive wink that allows left- and right-handed people to unscrew the cap with a 90-degree twist in either direction. The bottle is made entirely of wood from sustainably managed European forests and features a mirror on the cap. As the top and base of this compact makeup container are separate elements, the lid can be used as a pocket mirror. The rounded edges, the domed finish of the lid and the harmonious proportions of this natural wood container give it a soft and pleasant feel.
The product is designed to hold a 59 mm flat, metal, refillable godet, fixed to the base with a small, removable magnet that facilitates the separation of components for later recycling. The godet features an indentation that allows it to be easily removed with the fingers for replacement with a refill. Idol Woodacity Solo Twist Compact’ is part of Quadpack’s patented product line and can be customized to suit the needs of each brand.
The wood used to manufacture this compact is a raw material that can be renewed indefinitely and is PEFC or FSC certified.
