The supermarket chain has entered into a deal with sustainability startup Better Origins to provide insect feed for 10 of their egg suppliers. Better Origins ultimately aims to roll out insect-feed across all of Morrisons’ 60 egg farms. Currently, most indoor poultry feed is based on soy – a product with a significant carbon footprint.
