CREO Group, a leading provider of innovative packaging solutions, is strengthening its commitment to sustainability by introducing two new bio-based products, Asili and AgaveGrow, and rebranding its 3D systems to Forever Forward.
Asili, a new line of greenhouse containers, features more than 70% bio-based material that offers comparable performance, strength, and flexibility to traditional containers. Made from industrially compostable material, Asili breaks down naturally over time. CREO Group is planning to release a home compostable version of Asili in 2025.
AgaveGrow is an injection-molded nursery container engineered from a blend of bio-based resin and recycled resins. The use of agave, a byproduct of tequila production, reduces fossil-fuel-based plastics and CO2 emissions. AgaveGrow is 100% recyclable and offers an affordable, eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic containers.
By introducing Asili and AgaveGrow and rebranding its 3D systems to Forever Forward, CREO Group reaffirms its commitment to developing sustainable packaging solutions that support environmental and business goals.
“Our commitment to sustainability is at the core of everything we do,” said Amy Drew, Chief Sustainability Officer for CREO Group. “We know the road to sustainability in horticulture will be one of incremental change, and we are equipped to take on the challenge. With the launch of Asili and AgaveGrow, we are providing our customers with more eco-friendly choices that align with their sustainability objectives. CREO Group is committed to being the strongest and most innovative partner possible for our customers.”
