Bona launches 99% biobased all-purpose cleaner

Bona has launched its new USDA Certified Biobased Bona All-Purpose Cleaner. As one of a select few 99% biobased surface cleaners on the market, Bona, a global, sustainably driven company that supplies products for installing, renovating, maintaining, and restoring premium floors, furthers its commitment to people and the planet with this new addition to the Bona suite of cleaning products.

The formula contains hydrogen peroxide, a powerful cleaning agent and excellent source to help maintain a streak-free shine. Not only does Bona All-Purpose Cleaner contain 99% USDA certified biobased content, but it is also U.S. EPA Safer Choice certified and never tested on animals. Furthering its commitment to sustainability, the packaging for Bona All-Purpose Cleaner is made from 30% post-consumer recycled materials.

“This new all-purpose cleaner offers an effective streak-free clean while also being sustainably crafted,” said Leah Bradley, Senior Brand Manager, Bona. “As consumers become increasingly focused on lessening their environmental impact, we have also taken our cleaning products to the next level to be one of few companies offering high biobased formulations.”

To accompany the all-purpose cleaner, Bona is introducing a new microfiber cloth pack, with a sustainable design made from 80% post-consumer recycled material that can be washed and reused up to 300 times. With breakthrough designs created specifically for each area of the home, Bona Microfiber Cleaning Cloths provide the ultimate composition for each cleaning need – everything from tight zig zag weaves in kitchen cloths to catch food particles, to looser zig zags for bathrooms to help clean hair and soap scum and flat cloths for removing fingerprints and smudges on polished surfaces.

In addition, Bona’s flagship floor formulations are also now USDA Certified Biobased – with the Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner containing 95% biobased content and Bona Hard Surface Floor Cleaner containing 92% biobased content.
