Nave Analytics, a Nebraska-based technology company, has closed a pre-seed funding round of $400,000 to advance its irrigation analytics platform. The funding was provided by Invest Nebraska, Husker Venture Fund, Nelnet, and Nebraska Angels Capital Group.

The company plans to utilize the funding to complete software development projects, support research and development efforts, fund the first year of commercial operations in the United States, and expand into new geographies globally.

Founded by Jessi Korinek, Val Kovalsky, and Bradley Griggs, Nave Analytics has developed a sensor-free irrigation decision support tool that provides farmers and agronomists with easy-to-use, scalable, and accurate data feeds for informed irrigation decisions.

“We are grateful for the support from our investors and excited to continue building our innovative approach to water management,” said Jessi Korinek, CEO of Nave Analytics. “Our goal is to provide a complete picture of water balance at the pixel level, meeting farmers where they are in terms of technology adoption and filling data gaps when sensors are not applicable. This funding will allow us to build early traction and pursue global opportunities.”

Ben Williamson, Principal and General Counsel at Invest Nebraska, commented on the investment: “We are excited to support Nave Analytics in this funding round. The company’s innovative approach to precision irrigation addresses a significant gap in the market and demonstrates the founders’ domain expertise.”
